Respecting trans community & racism..?

Question

If someone is black (like myself) and is all about people not being racist, etc... 
but refuses to respect the trans community i.e. Not refer a transgender male as a.. male. Instead call them a "girl" because they were born a girl. And have little to no sympathy or respect for the LGBTQ+ community because people are "too sensitive" yet..... they are sensitive to racism, why is it ok to disrespect another minority when you stand up for another?

It doesn't matter what color you are ppl need to respect others regardless. 
If black ppl choose to be discriminatory, bigots, and prejudice they are no different than the ppl who oppress them. Marginalized groups need to recognize their struggles are not different from one another, but extremely similar to one another. The only difference is the duration, time, frequency, intensity, and priority of our struggles. 
I'm dumbfounded when one marginalized group discriminates against another, because of their appearance or gender. It makes one wonder if the social constructs, policies, upbringings, religious beliefs, and other influences strongly contribute to why marginalized groups discriminate against other marginalized groups. 
All it contributes to is the repeating of history of oppressed marginalized groups and it feeds into the stereotypes that society already views upon these groups.

This happens a lot, I've seen a lot of my black mutuals on twitter talk about how just because people are black or Asian, etc etc, and stand up for their minority doesn't mean they can't be sexist, homophobic etc. One of them wrote out a thread about how problematic a lot of gay white men are on twitter, and how a lot of them are racist and sexist (misogynistic) etc. 
You'd think being a part of any minority would make you more open-minded and respectful of other minorities or marginalized groups but that isn't always the case.

Just because someone is a member of a minority community doesn't mean they are going to empathize with someone else's struggles. We are not a monolith. There is also a difference in being a visible minority versus a passing one.  I know in America, the Civil Rights movement was created by Black Americans and other minorities have benefitted from it and used it as a blueprint for their own movements while maintaining anti-Black attitudes. The LGBT+ movement is an example of that. So I can understand while some groups feel disconnected and/or hostile to other groups.
