Work After Baby..??

Question

Looking after a baby is such a full time non stop job.. I almost want to dedicate each full day to look after baby but worried about income.. what did you do?? Thanks!

I went back after our first. My mom watched our son 2 days a week so it kept the cost of daycare affordable. And they are wonderful there. He loves "school". But now with #2 on the way we decided I will quit and stay home because we'd have to put them in daycare full time which would be almost my entire monthly paycheck. I'm glad we had the extra income while we did though. I'll go back to work when they are both in school full time.

I don't think anyone can tell you what you should do here. This is a personal decision based on your family's finances and budget. I have to go back to work full time. There is no other option for me, but that doesn't mean it's the right thing for everyone else.

I'm going to be staying at home with our little one when she gets here. The only way we're able to do that is because my hubby has a really good paying job.

I'm quitting my job while being pregnant to reduce stress then staying home with baby unless more income is need then I will get a part time job.

Im finishing college 2 months before baby is due. My plan is to start looking for work once baby sleeps through the night

I plan to stay at home. My husband and I would prefer me to stay home with our baby girl when shes born. Yes we have people that would jump at us leaving her with them h Tim I get home but we don't want it like that. I'm currently a college student (so glad that my semester ends Three weeks before my due date I'm hoping she stays there until after my finals) once she's  born I'll be taking the next semesters online.
