Hi ladies! So I had my yearly gyno appointment last week and my nurse called me yesterday and said that they found abnormal cells. I'm freaking out and was wondering if anyone who has had results like this before or maybe even a nurse are willing to share their stories/experiences. Naturally, my first thought is cancer or HPV, but I did some research and read where these kind of results are not unusual for women my age.

To answer any possible questions:

•I'm 22 and sexually active, but always use a condom

•this was not my first Pap smear

•I've had the HPV shot within the last two years

•I have a family history of ovarian cancer and endometriosis

•I've had STI testing and it always comes back negative

•The only things I've noticed being wrong with my body lately is all signs of endometriosis
