My brother just graduated from the Navy yesterday and is on his was to his C school as i write this. My best friend and all of our mutual friends are in the service as well (she's in the coast guard and our friends are in the Navy). My dad has always said that i was never allowed to join because "i could do so many better things with myself than join the military." i really think i want to though, i've thought about it for a while, i just know i'll have a tough time in boot because of the physical aspect, but i know i can do it if i try. i'm going to school right now, but i think after i get my associates, i'm going to enlist.
