I'm 18 but as a 17 year old I was dating a 23 year old. The issue, though, is if you're going to date an older man, make sure he has shit. A job. His license. A vehicle. Goals. I dated my ex because he was pretty, funny, smart, and we had a past. It was comforting to be with someone that I knew and knew exactly what to say but the new relationship feeling wore off within a month when every time HE wanted something I had to ask MY family for cash. guess what I'm trying to say is make sure he acts his age lol

My boyfriend and I have a 7 year difference ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ but he acts his age and then some. He is the most hardworking, understanding, caring, supportive, and most beautiful person I have ever met. It took a long time for us to come to terms with our gap but honestly, sometimes things just happen and people just end up working so beautifully. As long as you're happy, and in a relationship where there is respect, open conversation and you both take care of each other + know how to give space then I don't see the problem. oF course make sure you're not like 12 because that's creepy lmao 
Just use your head and judgement, honestly I don't think it's that weird. Sometimes older guys are more developed or have more mental/financial stability which is attractive.
