So this happened almost a year ago but I figured I'd share.

I used to work at a Starbucks that had a lot of military men coming in and out(we were located between 2 bases) so needless to say we had a lot of them become regulars. One of them, we'll call him Bob for anonymity purposes, used to come in a few times a week and was always very friendly. Bob always was preferential to me making his drinks, keeping my attention, talking to me a lot blah blah blah.

As anyone who works in customer service will tell you, especially with food service and coffee, being extra kind/sweet/pleasant is part of the job. So I always made time for Bob, and never really thought anything of it besides that he was just one of my regulars.

I ended up switching Starbucks because I had gotten promoted. So I started telling all my regulars and letting them know when my last day was and encouraging them to come visit.

So I tell Bob and he asks for my number to stay in contact and I give it to him, again not thinking anything of it. We texted a few times but I really tried to keep it at small talk as I was/am in a very happy relationship.

WELL I wanna say maybe 2 weeks after I left I get a text from a random number asking me who I was. So I gave my name and asked who it was texting me. They responded...BOBS GOT A WIFE. So she starts asking me about mine and bobs relationship. I told her that if anything was construed as flirting that I didn't mean for it to and it was just because he came in enough to become a regular and that I was doing my job.

TURNS OUT BOBS GOT 2 DAUGHTERS, 1 OF WHOM WAS A FEW WEEKS OLD AND THAT THIS IS THE FOURTH TIME SHES CAUGHT BOB DOING THIS BUT NO OTHER GIRL RESPONDED.

Her and I get to talking and I kept apologizing just out of respect and she decided that she was going to divorce him.

POINT OF THE STORY: I was the only girl out of 4 who gave this woman the respect she deserved. As women we must help each other out and be honest and upfront with each other. If I was in her shoes I would hope for someone to respond and be honest with me. So please take a lesson from this story and help another girl out if you know her man is being shady.
