Last month I had my pill changed to a different type after an appointment with my doctor, but as I had to start the new pack the next day, the days don't line up with the days on the pill packet so if I wanted to check if I took a pill on a Monday for example, I wouldn't be able to check the pill in the Monday space. I'm currently a few days into my 7 day break and in the next pill pack should I start the new pack a few days early? My pill break started on Saturday just gone and if I were to start the next pill pack with the dates lined up my break would be 9 days instead of 7, will this affect the contraceptive element? And if so for how long?
