Late and light periods with nausea
I've always had very regular, 28-day cycles (without ever being on the pill), and a 3-day flow.
BUT...our first time TTC (last month), AF showed up 7 days late, and lasted for 5 days. I also had NEW symptoms before and throughout AF's visit: constant nausea, deep pelvic pain, very frequent urination, and unprovoked tears. I would've been surprised to get pregnant on the first "try," but because of my new symptoms, I was actually surprised to get a BFN.
Then my period was weird again this month. It came 3 days early and is really light. The bleeding is starting to taper off after just 1.5 days, but I still feel super heavy, crampy, and nauseous. It's miserable.
What's also strange is both of these periods started subtly...a very faint light pink, then brownish, then eventually thin red blood. My usual AF always showed up in full swing; bright red with clots.
My doc said just a few months ago, "I don't think you'll have any issues getting pregnant since you're young, healthy, and regular," but as soon as we started TTC, nothing is regular!
What the heck?! Does TTC throw your hormones all out of whack for some reason?
