I did the antagonist protocol in July and our results weren't great. 19 eggs, 16 mature, 12 fertilized with ICSI, but unfortunately only 2 embryos survived to be PGS tested and frozen. Both are euploid but graded poorly - 5BC.

Our RE wants us to do another retrieval before trying a transfer, to see if we can get better quality embryos the second time around. We have decided to go ahead and do a second retrieval on her recommendation.

She is changing me to a Lupron down-regulation protocol, with the hope that changing the protocol will change the results.

Has anyone done one protocol, had poor results, and then had better results with a second protocol?
