Should I quit?

So I've been working at McDonald's for almost 7 months now and I despise it for the most part. Everytime I get my paycheck, it's usually spent on either weed or stuff for my boyfriend, like magic cards or Xbox games. I can't really get any other jobs because I'm only sixteen and don't  have my license yet. Plus it's part time and minimum wage ($8.15/hr) But he just got a job and it's full time and a lot more than minimum wage. I would like to make my own money, but fuck man, it's almost not even worth it.

from my understanding, it looks like your man is the issue, spending your entire check. you are not going to find any job that is much better than McDonald's. I know it sucks, I been there but just stick thru it til you're 18, alot of doors open up when you have a diploma. also, keep your money for you, you ain't that boys momma and he can use money from his own job. if he spends it all on weed, don't give him shit. that's his own fault

you need to call OSHA, department of labor laws. they'll document the call and keep it on file and if theirs more than one call against them, they'll probably be there the next day to investigate the problem. i'm not kidding you need to call. AND it's ILLEGAL for them to fire you if they find out you're the one who called. BUT osha will not tell them who called.

I thought you meant quit buying weed, (which you should) so I choose yes but I think you need to be independent. I don't like that whatever money you get goes towards him. Keep your job and hustle. He has his own money now so he can buy his own things.

Honestly, I feel like the fast food industry is the worst place to work. McDonalds especially. I worked at Zaxbys for a year, but it wasn't as bad as when I worked at McDonalds for two weeks. I think the best thing to do is look into retail positions. I personally haven't worked in retail, but I feel like it would be less stressful and annoying than fast food.

Should I quit?
