When women on here ask for advice...

This is what I see when most women on here ask for advice about their relationship and they get responses

Or they get dragged and ridiculed

My sister is like that! My husband and I went through a rough patch about a year ago and my sister just kept saying divorce! We have since worked things out and have been great.And the rough patch was just a stupid spat. Why is quitting always the first option people run to? I understand in cases such as abuse and other extreme things like that I could see why they would respond that way. But I saw something the other day on facebook about a women who was upset that her husband won't do any cooking even if she has worked hard with their new baby all day and people immediately ran to divorce! What is wrong with wanting to work things out? Can't we just be left to believe that love is stronger than anything?

I think i see that response the most for cheating. People are sooo quick to say "just break up" when it comes to cheating. I think its a very complex and personal issue, and is almost never as simple as "just break up"

I mean in defense of the advice-givers if you hear a one sided recount of probably the worst fight they've ever had, that's the reasonable conclusion. We don't know the other side or the nuance. For all we know, that disrespect and unhappiness is an everyday thing. It's nice to have a reminder that that type of thing is not normal or healthy. Maybe they can get through it, maybe not. Maybe that was a once in a blue-moon event. We don't know. Better to tell someone to break up than to tell someone to stay in what seems like a potentially abusive environment in the off chance that it's overblown

Isn't it hard? Sometimes you just want to vent but you really need to pick and choose who
You vent to bc some people never forget the bad stuff you tell them, as though their partner  must be totally perfect all the time.
