advice for my pit dog?

he's still young not 1 yet he's a pit and another big dog mix. he really tall and skinny he eats all the time..any advice to help him gain weight or maybe there something wrong with him he just won't put on any weight at all.

We raw feed our pits. There's tons of resources out there for doggie parents who choose to raw feed. It allows me to easily tweak their diets to adjust for weight looks, weight gain, or to have them maintain their weight. It's super confident and it's the best diet I've found for my male put who undoubtably has horrible allergies to everything!

give him a little bit of dry cat food  I know it sounds crazy but it's high in protein and will help him gain healthy weight

Ask your vet what his ideal weight would be and feed him that much plus half based on the bags instructions. When they're puppies and hyperactive it's hard to keep weight on them because their metabolism is so high. Also speak to the vet and see if they would recommend adding wet food or something else high in caloric value.

Definitely ask the vet! I rescued a lab mix this year and she didn't gain weight despite eating a LOT. She needed medication for worms. Once we finished the medication she gained weight fast- went from 20lbs to 60 in a few months
