I would love it if this post could become a resource for those interested in deconstructing the idea that if you sleep with a guy on the first date or early on in the relationship - that it will cause him to loose respect for you. I have had several successful relationships with men where we get intimate in a sexual way but also an emotional one right off the bat. However- a couple recent encounters and of course societal rhetoric has me feeling like a dumb slut who gave it up too easy and is never going to attract a good guy who sticks around. Hmm. SO, if any of you know of books, podcasts, just any resources that can help us feel more confident in this realm... please comment them below. I do believe that you should NOT feel guilty about doing what you wanted to do in the bedroom. This is not a matter of consent - I am talking about if both partners were in full consent. I am just referring to that after math morning after regret that sometimes has you worried that you will be though of in a bad way. Hope this makes sense! :)
