New to OPKs

So I am on cycle day 44 after stoping my birth control. I had the withdrawal bleeding immediately after stoping but still haven't had a regular period. Should I even bother with OPK's yet or wait until AF decides to show??? Sorry this is probably a dumb question, still trying to learn! 🤔🤷🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️
