Anyone still nursing?

Question

We've cut back to only nursing for naps and bedtime. But y'all I'm ready for it to be done! Anyone have advice on weaning an 18 month old?? I'm desperate!

I just weaned two weeks ago week at 31 weeks pregnant. I slowly cut back I would let her drink her milk and then nurse her after for bedtime so she was pretty much full, in the morning it was the opposite I'd let her nurse for a bit then cut her off and give her breakfast with a drink. This worked well for us, we finally got Down to just morning, then I just offered her breakfast and she was fine. She seemed to be done though because she would pull at my shirt when she wanted to nurse and she stopped doing that before i weaned her.
 I also waited for all her teeth to be in because she would always nurse extra when they were breaking through. 
Now I get an 7 week break before I get to nurse number 2!

We reduced to nap and bedtime only. Then replaced bedtime with rocking, singing softly, holding and cuddling. I would just say "all done" when asked for it.  Then we bought the Fisher Price glow seahorse and introduced that at bedtime. Once he was attached to the stuffed animal, I started introducing it at nap and doing the rocking cuddling etc. and saying "all done" if he went to breastfeed.  He has done remarkably well and was ready, I think.  Overall, I think our relationship has actually improved. Since I'm 23 weeks pregnant and I think my supply is basically gone, he would be very antsy, frustrated and anxious trying to nurse and it was no longer calming.

I just weaned my little guy. I've been slowly cutting out his feedings, and offering BM in a sippy cup. I recently gave birth so he's definitely jealous and he cries when I nurse his sister. I continue to offer him a cup of BM.

I started weaning at 17 months. And now by 18 months he is completely done! Nice to have my boobs back! He still sometimes asks for them, but I just tell them they are empty and there is no more. 
At 16 months; We dropped down to naps and bed only. Then to just bed only. Then towards the end of 16th month I started to tell him my boobs were empty and they have no more milk and would only give him milk at night if he asked for it. By the 17th month I nursed him the first day. Then for the next 3 days I told him they were empty and gave him a bottle with milk... then nursed him in the 4th day... then 4 days later I nursed for the last time. The first week was hard. But a lot of Altoids! 
I read an article about spraying vinegar on your boobs and tell them your milk is bad... but here's a bottle. Thought I was going glance to resort to this!

Sounds crazy but that thum brand anti thumb sucking nail paint I put it on my nipples... one night of hell, a very strange first week for sis and that was it. She tried it didn’t like it tried to suck tasted bad didn’t like it and daddy would make a bad face and say ickyyyy everytime she wanted it. Litterally second day she didn’t try anymore

Thank you ladies for the responses. I never thought I'd be a breast feeding mom and luckily for us it came very naturally. But now I'm starting to feel tapped out. I cut back about two months ago to naps and bedtime and after about 2 days she was fine with that. But suddenly these past couple of weeks she's wanting to nurse all day long again. Maybe those last 4 teeth are working their way in! We tried vinegar, huuuuge fail. We tried bandaids, also a huge fail. I'm hoping we can start trying a sippy cup as she thinks BM in a bottle is a joke and won't drink anything besides water (I won't complain there). We're going on vacation for two weeks so I'm hoping she'll stay so busy and wear herself out to where she won't care during nap times. She loves to nurse so I know this is gonna be a lengthy process but momma needs a little space!

Just wanted to say yes some of us are still nursing. :) I still nurse on demand. So sometimes, like when she's teething, she nurses all day long, and sometimes only going to sleep. I don't have any intentional weaning advice though. Sorry. I've only ever done full term nursing so they weaned on their own. That's been 2-3.5 years for my other kids. At 2 years I generally night wean though. That's usually pretty easy as they are older and not nursing at night often.
