How do I tell best friend that I'm pregnant?

So my best friend has been TTC for the past 3 years but keeps having miscarriages. They decided they were not going to seek help and stop trying all together, even though I know she still wants another baby so badly. Well I just found out that I am pregnant with baby #2 but I have no idea how I'm going to tell her. I know she will be excited for me but I also know it will crush her. We're going camping together this weekend and she'll know something's up since I won't be drinking. How do I approach this? Any ideas on how I should tell her?

I texted one of my best friends a lengthy text when I told her so She'd be able to react on her own however she needed to. I made sure she was one of the first to know because I didn't want her hearing about it from anyone else. I pretty much apologized because It's not fair and told her I can't wait for it to be their time because they'll be excellent parents. She took it very well and said we deserve to be happy as much as they do.

Although this is a difficult area for her personally, she will be happy for you. It's okay to say, hey I want to let you know I'm expecting another baby. You can share the news happily, and although it may be bittersweet for her, it's better than walking on eggshells around her, which might hurt her feeling even more. She can be happy for you, and you can be sad with her about her losses. It's all okay ❤️

I'm going through the same thing. My best friend is also my other daughters god mother. I promise it will crush her more if you wait to tell her than if you go ahead and tell her. She will feel like you were hiding it from her. It may hurt a little and she may take a step back so she doesn't rain on your parade, but she will come around if she's your real friend. She will be happy for you, and if she needs a minute give it to her. I've been on both sides so I know where you and she are coming from. But I wouldn't wait long to tell her.

This is a tough one but as hurt or jealous or spiteful she may be... she will be happy for you and even happier that you told her vs her hearing it elsewhere. 
I had a friend recently get pregnant and was super scared to tell me. She did though and I did tell her I was jealous. It took about a week for me to call her again but I am happy she told me and happy for her too. I won't lie and say I am not jealous that she got pregnant so easily but she is my friend and I'm there for her.

I agree with the post above about texting her. If you do it in person she may be dying on the inside but will have to pretend to be happy on the outside and that will be much harder. If she finds out via text she can do what she needs to in private to accept it.
