My daughter was born July 19 and during pushing I developed a hematoma the size of a grapefruit on my labia. I guess these are really rare, basically a bruise or blood blister sort of thing. Bleeding stabilized so I was able to continue pushing and deliver vaginally, but the pain and awkwardness of the hematoma was crazy. Doctor said it'd take at least 2 months for the blood to reabsorb into my body...meanwhile I could hardly sit up with it, never mind stand or walk with my legs together. Ended up getting it drained, was immediately better, able to sit and walk, even if painful, it was just less awkward. It's been 6 weeks, it has really shrunk almost back to normal, but is still painful. It feels like my clit is bruised, and the labia is still tender/sore. Anyone who's gone through this, how long did it take for you to feel fully recovered? Seriously nervous to have sex once given the ok, given that the stitches are up in the vagina...😫
