Strong odor??

My daughter recently started her period. Her menstrual blood has a strong odor though. Does anyone know what I can get her or something she can do to help this??? I have already told her to change her pads more often due to heavy bleeding. HELP PLEASE!!

If she just started having them it could just be her body getting used to the change. I'd still encourage her to keep changing pads and maybe just wait a few cycles and if it's still an issue maybe go talk to a gynecologist. It seems like when I first got mine it was like that and then went away after a few months
