Alright ladies, so I have a very irregular period (it once skipped three months, and then once went nonstop for an entire month, all dried blood). This began after I finished up treatment for Ewing's Sarcoma, a cancer of the bone. (I'm all fine by the way 😊) My period was regular beforehand, and my blood was often not dried, but things have changed drastically post-treatment. I'm a little worried about the effects that chemotherapy can have on your reproductive system, and since I've been done with treatment for a year and seven months now, the irregularity of my period worries me a bit...I feel like I might run into trouble in trying to concieve children down the road? I'm 17 now, and would like to have kids some day. Does anyone who has had cancer and then had or not had fertility issues afterwards have any advice? Anyone else can comment too, that's fine by me. I already talked to my oncologist by the way, and she did some hormone testing for my last scans which were in July she just hasn't responded with any information. (I'm going to call her up soon about it, no worries there). It would be really nice though to get some perspective from other women who have lived through cancer. Thanks fam ♡
