I had a miscarriage at 6 weeks earlier this month. I started miscarrying on July 30th and stopped on August 6th. Confirmed miscarriage by ultrasound on August 7th -- there was nothing left in my uterus. My husband and I had sex once this month, on August 21st. I had been having what I presume to be ovulation pains based on previous experience during the week leading up to intercourse. I usually have 28 day cycles, so I should have started my period this past weekend, if I count the miscarriage week as a regular period. I picked up some pregnancy tests today just to check and this was the result. I never had HCG tests after my miscarriage and I never took any pregnancy tests until now. Could this be leftover HCG from my miscarriage 4 weeks ago? Anybody get pregnant immediately after a miscarriage?
