Nurses??

I'm not really sure where to post this but have any of you nurses or nursing students ever question if you want to be a nurse? I'm hitting a rough spot in my degree right now and I really don't know if it's for me anymore. 😭😭

😂😂 I question everyday..... but then something happens to remind me why I wanted to be a nurse. And just like that I'm happy to be a nurse again. 
I work in an ED that services 3 states and people of all races, classes, etc. some days it is VERY trying/tiring. 
But I wouldn't want to do anything else. Plus I can support myself and my kiddos if I needed to...

I think about dropping out at least twice a week. But I think of the end result and that’s it’s best for my unborn and I keep it pushing.

Nursing school is rough.  It basically consumes your entire life until you are done.  All the studying, clinical, tests with questions that have multiple right answers but only one most right answer.  I graduated in 2009 and you better believe my CEUs are done plenty before license renewal time because there is NO way I'm going to do that again.  School sucked, but I love being a nurse most of the time. The nice thing with nursing is it is so flexible. There are hundreds of different avenues you can take within it. I love working 3 days a week.  The pay is good too. Hang in there. 😀

I did a year of nursing school and then quit. It was a very difficult decision because I had invested so much time and energy into that path, but it ultimately ended up being the right decision for me. I don't regret the time I spent in the nursing field and working as a CNA because of all the knowledge I gained.

I want to quit all the time. The only thing that keeps me going is thinking about what I'd do instead of being a nurse. Ive bartended and worked a 9-5 and have no interest in doing either of those again. So I keep on trucking.
