Bedtimes?

So I'm in a relationship where my boyfriend also has kids. Well his son is almost 3 and my daughter is going on two. I usually try to put them to bed around 8:00-9:00 is that too early???

Nope my kids 4yrs old and 8 1/2 months old both go to bed at 9pm my son the oldest has been going to bed at that time since before he was 1 my daughter its been since she was 3 months old

I don't think so at all. My first has always had an 8-830 bedtime and she's 5 now. My second is on only 3 months and she goes to bed at 9 just because it's easier to get one in bed and then deal with a babies bedtime. Works well for us!

No, that would be way late at my house. My 18 month old is down at about 7:15 everyday. My 4 & 6 year olds are 8pm, unless school is in session, then 7:30. My kids are so worn out from school and I have to get them up at 6:30. Sleep is really important for children. My middle son would stay up until 10pm if I let him nap. My daughter is four going on five and has always gone to bed between 7 & 8pm. She wakes up around 7 or 8 am, sometimes she sleeps even longer. I think it's good to have a set bedtime at least two hours ahead of the parents so that parents get their alone or couple time together with no children.
