Sorry for the gross picture. I woke up with my fiancé to see him off to work and went pee. When I wiped I noticed I was spotting(brown) when I stood up I realized there were clots in the toilet (I think they were brown but couldn't tell, you can be the judge from the picture)

Has anyone had this happen and everything be ok with the baby? I've never bled (even brown blood) this late (8w2d) but I just found out I have a thyroid problem and that can cause me to lose the baby.... so naturally I'm panicked. This is my 4th and I already saw the heartbeat.

My fiancé thinks I'm losing a twin- there were two figures in the ultrasound one with a heartbeat one without... he thinks the one without never developed.

I'm freaking out because I just had a miscarriage last August and now finding out about my thyroid everything makes sense.

This was supposed to be our last. If i miscarry, I don't know if I'll be able to try again (emotionally)

Please tell me someone had this happen this far in and it wasn't a loss

**UPDATE**

Went for a checkup with the dr. There was only one baby, which the dr was unsure about before- and heart rate was 171 and strong. There is a hemorrhage around the baby but all looks good. Thanks for everyone's input!
