Oatmeal allergy?

I gave my little one whole wheat oatmeal for the first time the other day. The following day he had a little bit of diarrhea and diaper rash. Went away the next day. Then 2 days later I have it to him again, and the same thing happened! Is this a slight food allergy? Anyone else's little one seem to not agree with oatmeal?

My daughter has FPIES and her first reaction was to oatmeal... first was diaper rash, increased reflux and diarrhea... then on the 4th trial we stated getting the severe vomiting.

Possibly gluten it's highly allergenic, a lot of us are actually sensitive to it just don't recognize the more mild signs. I'd try gluten free oatmeal and see if that was the issue
