Winter car seat cover suggestions?

I am a ftm and I live in Canada. Meaning.... the winters here on the prairies are cold. Any ideas or recommendations for winter car seat covers? From what I've read some are a big no no. 
Any input?

I had winter babies so this came in very handy. It kept it warm and cozy and very easy to put on and off. Best part is the lining inside is thick too. No need to worry about your baby being too hot or cold.

We did the Jj cole urban infant bundle me for my last winter baby, and I bought another one for this one.

We are in Ontario and I use the style that goes around the car seat (like the black one someone posted). Dress baby warmly with a hat and cover with a warm blanket inside the cover 🙂 (just remember it's not safe for them to wear a coat or bunting bag in the car seat)

This is what I bought. Then I'll just lay a blanket over him after he's buckled. 
Obviously only have it closed while walking outside and pull it open once in the car or store so you're not restricting air flow.
