Are fetal hiccups dangerous?

I am 35 weeks and baby girl has hiccups maybe every other day- I just read about it because I thought it was so cute and some of the sites say you need to worry if you have it towards the end because it could be a sign of umbilical compression??? Is everyone else having hiccups? Should I be worried?! 🤔

My little girl gets them up to 4x in a day. I asked my doctor because I read the same thing online and he just laughed and told me 1) don't believe everything you read online 2) stop googling things :)

My baby has hiccups 1-4x a day!! Lol I thought it was too many but they're just practicing breathing!! It is cute :) enjoy it while you can

I've never heard of it being a bad thing. I thought it was a good thing lol it means baby is swallowing amniotic fluid and practicing breathing! It is cute too haha 😊😊

My son had them multiple times a days until birth. Even after birth he got them after eating for the first couple weeks. Our OB told there was nothing to worry about with them.

I've heard they could be bad but I don't think it could be bad unless they're happening a lot in one day. My baby girl gets them almost every other day or every two days at least. I don't think you have to worry, but if you wanna make sure talk with your doctor. ☺️

My little boy has them multiple times a day. I'm a little worried too as I've been getting fixed feedback. I plan to ask my doctor at my next appt.
