Anxiety attack during pregnancy?

Has anyone ever experienced an anxiety attack while pregnant? Did it ever go away? I had my first experience last night and it was horrible 😞

Oh yeah, these were horrible in the first trimester.  The best advice I can give is that you can find power in accepting you are powerless.  Just know anxiety attacks typically have the physical symptoms resolve in 20 minutes.  You can muscle through it for
20 minutes.  Allow yourself to go through the emotions and pain and try to have things nearby to help you.
To me, I will literally open a book and I can't focus on reading but instead I will say the letters of each word out loud, it gives my mind a simple task to focus on.
I'm so sorry you are going through this.  Just know the first one is the worst.  You will learn how to cope with it.

yes ma'am. had a severe one last wk at 22 wks. not sure what started it but I haven't been able to take my meds since getting pregnant. just remember to breathe and sit somewhere quiet. concentrate on your breathing. If you need to undress, do so. limit caffeine. you'll be ok. They're just scary.

I suffered from panic attacks pre pregnancy as well but they definitely worse now. I use a breathing/meditation technique to help. I'll say the number 1 to myself with every breath. Not to count the breaths but just to have something on my mind. It's supposed to help clear your mind

Yup, 30 weeks and has a massive one this morning when I got the text that my grandfather had died. I looked at all of my panic attack meds and none of them are pregnancy safe. I'm finally coming down but I'm still shaking some.
