Genetic blood screen?

This was a hot topic during my last viable pregnancy, so I'm curious to hear what everyone has to say.

I was high risk, so it was recommended anyway. It's just a simple blood draw, so no harm to baby and finding the gender early was just a bonus. This time I will do it as well just for the peace of mind.

I want to know the sex and might as well have some non-invasive testing on the baby's health too! We are getting it done in about 2 weeks and I'm so anxious!

I got it with my daughter because my younger brother was born with Down Syndrome. I didn't find out the sex then because I didnt know I could!! But I totally will again this pregnancy! I'm super high risk and impatient to start buying baby clothes again!

One of my cousins has cystic fibrosis so we have to screen.

Why not if you have the money and want to? It's blood from the Mom and not the baby so there isn't any harm.
