Why does everything smell weird when I'm pregnant?

So I have a guest bedroom in my house and since I have been pregnant the room has an odd smell to it . It's not a food smell I clean the room over and over and know one else smells it . I have cleaned the room like five times and sometimes I'll get a wif of the room while I'm laying on the couch , It makes me dread coming home sometimes . 
(Dramatic I know ) . Has this happens to anyone else before ?

I always tell this story about when I was pregnant with my first and my SO at the time came home. I kept saying I smelled truffles (truffle oil, like the mushroom). He kept telling me he didn't know what I was talking about until I asked him point blank if he had been at a certain restaurant and had the fries there. Turns out he had been to that exact restaurant and also had the fries so don't doubt that pregnancy nose of yours!

My fiance is a chef and before it never bothered me when I'd pick him up for work but now I can't stand the smell of all the food that he cooks all day! He just smells like the kitchen and I can't handle it! He gets all butt hurt because I won't hug or kiss him but I gag almost every time! I make him shower before I'll kiss him!

It sucks, even past morning sickness, some smells still make me nauseous and picky. I used to love eating Vietnamese food, but now I only think about how dirty and stinky their restaurants can get (thanks super nose 👃) and start gagging. 😖
