Would you...?

Would you grow your child in an incubator? I saw this video on Facebook and it was about growing a foetus without need of a body.

(I’m not sure if this is real but you can answer on the hypothetical)

The purpose for it is for people who have difficulty getting pregnant or carrying a child. You can feed the foetus with special food in a tube and feel it’s movements on a portable monitor.

The comments had good and bad things to say. The good were people can have a child without need of a surrogate. Same sex couples would get benefit from this. It helps couples who can’t have kids naturally. Women can work more easily. You can watch your baby develop. Women’s bodies won’t need to go through pregnancy and therefore there’s no risk to the mothers. Men can get equal rights to what happens to the child as its not a woman’s body who is carrying. Abortion rates could also be lowered for this reason. (Please don’t make this an abortion post I’m just stating a point made).

The bad was we shouldn’t play god. If you can’t have kids adoption is better as many kids need homes. What if you forget to feed the baby. Someone could steal the foetus. Science is going too far. Natural is better as the incubator might not be sanitary. The main issues really were safety and sanitation.
