How do you talked to your baby?

Personally I find baby talk extremely annoying. Like changing voices. It's sounds stupid to me. My mom and my grandmother do it to my baby and I find it incredibly irritating. It just makes me feel weird. Like talk to the baby regularly, that's just my opinion. How do talk to your baby? Do you find baby talk annoying?

I do both. The baby talk voice is called "motherese" and it's good for baby's language development. Similarly repeating things and singing is good for them too.

As long as you arent distorting words and pronouncing them wrong, it is okay, though it can sound a bit obnoxious, lol. Babies respond to that change in voice, that is why it is kind of instinctive to do it. I do it a little, like speaking in super happy sounding voice, cause it makes her smile. Things like that.

It depends on what you consider baby talk...my voice does get a little higher and more "fun" sounding...but I don't sit and say coochy coochy coo kind of crap...higher voices are very normal, and actually beneficial when talking to babies...but make sure to use real works and have full conversations with them so they can develop their language skills.

I can’t stand baby talk. I’ll talk normally but just with slight inflections in my voice for stimulation

I think it's important to change your tone of voice to stimulate the baby's reactions, but I don't like the baby talk you can't understand or substituting works like blanket for blankie.

I talk to my daughter regular most of the time once in a while I'll sneak in some baby talk but talking regular to her has really helped her with her speech

I find baby talk degrading. They're people, tiny people but still people. I mean you wouldn't go to a store or fast food restaurant or anywhere and talk to people in "baby talk." I mean can you imagine 
"Hi, welcome to McDonald's, what can I get for you??"
"I would like a cheesy burger!! Yes I would!! And fries too. Yes I would like fries with that!!" (in a annoying whiny voice)

I taught my daughter how to talk really fast. My fiancé told me , "you taught her how to talk and you don't even talk to her" lol so I started talking normally to her. Only baby talk was for when she was born. She's a grown girl now ;right lol .
