How would you feel if someone didn't disclose?

Okay, before anything else, CIS PEOPLE GET NO SAY IN THIS.
Now that that's out of the way, if you're asking about yourself, it depends, only you, as a trans person, can decide what's right for you. Many people choose to be open about being trans, and many people choose to go stealth, meaning they pass as cisgender and don't correct those who assume they are. There can be benefits from both options, and possible bad things to come from both. You have to weigh up what your priorities are. Are you proud to be trans? Would you rather be discreet? Do you want to skip the awkward explaining to people you get close to or just get it out of the way at the start? Are you prepared to handle the potential transphobia you may face being open about it? These are the things you will have to think about.

I'll tell people if I'm trans if I want to and cis people have no say in my privacy and safety. Obviously, Id need to tell my doctor, but other Than that it's my business. I live in a place where it's dangerous to be open about my lifestyle and beliefs and a cis persons comfort is not worth more than my life.

Unless it's expected that cis people do the same thing, we have no business in telling how or if trans people should open up about their genitals.

Until you FULLY know someone's spot on trans rights and trans people that trans person has a risk of being murdered, raped or beaten JUST for being trans.
Why you should:
Absolutely no reason except for the cis persons comfort.

Okay. So what your transgender? I think you're a beautiful human being and I still like you for who you are. I completely understand why you withheld this information, I understand life can be dangerous for you. But I will never harm you. And definitely never because you're transgender.
A TRANS PERSONS SAFETY IS WORTH MORE THAN MY COMFORT.

Your attracted to the person they present as. Saying otherwise is like telling someone your offended by their DNA. 
My sexuality is. Little more "fluid" considerably pansexual but typically present heterosexual if that makes sense (currently classified as heteroflexible) if I see an attractive womyn that's all that I see. Who am I to doubt that. Bottom line is they attracted me.

As a cis person I realise my opinion on this doesn't particularly matter because I don't fully understand what transgender people go through. However, I personally think that in a SERIOUS relationship the information could be important. Your significant other might want biological children for example, and they deserve to know if that isn't going to happen. 
If my boyfriend told me he was transgender right now I wouldn't think any different of him.

I think in a serious relationship the partner should be aware that the person is not able to have biological children. Whether that information is given by revealing trans status or by nominating a different reason (ie childhood illness) is up to the person
