It's not that big of a deal if my 3 day old doesn't wake up to eat every 2-4 hours at night right?

At that age you need to be waking them up to eat.

I've personally never woken my child to eat. She's always been an excellent sleeper and I wasn't going to ruin that lol the first few weeks, she'd sleep 5 hours stretches at night. She'd go to bed between 8 and 9pm and wake up around 2am and 7am. By 5 weeks she was sleeping through the night and skipping that 2am bottle completely. She's never had a problem letting me know she's hungry and I always knew she was consuming plenty throughout the day as well. So I wasn't concerned.

Yeah you shouldn't let them go longer than four hours. I set a timer on my phone to wake me up every three hours if she doesn't wake up on her own. Some nights I have to wake her up (uncovering her, checking her diaper, etc) and sometimes she wakes up before it goes off. It's not ideal to be woken up with an alarm at all hours of the night, but they need to eat.
