Do I need (in your opinion) private health care for pregnancy cover and does private offer any significant advantage if you may have infertility issues? (I think I have issues, nothing has been confirmed).

I've had friends say private offered no real advantages for them, so I am just curious.

Background: I'm a yank that's moved here full time (been in the country 5years) so the healthcare system still confuses me a little bit, any tips or advice you have for me is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
