Breastfeeding- when do periods come back?

Hello, my baby has been breastfed since birth and is now having a lot more solids and less breast milk i kind of expected my periods to come back by now... she's 7 months is there a time they're normally back by? I only ask because we want to try for another when she's around one and I'm starting to feel like they're never coming back. Any advise would be great. Thanks Ladies

It's different for everyone. I got my first period when she was just two months. For some women, it's not until they finish breastfeeding.

I breastfed my oldest for 13 months and didn't get my period till about 12 months pp. I'm currently breastfeeding my 9 month old and still haven't had one. 🙌

Everyone is different. Mine came back 3 months pp. It really just varies person to person.

Well I never got mine because I ended up being pregnant and not realizing it haha, you usually get your period between 3 months and up

It all just depends on your body some women get it back directly after having their baby and some even get it around when their baby turns one. My came back when she was just turning 10 months old, which was just a few weeks ago.
