I went in on Monday for my check up and my doctor did a cervical exam since I mentioned the pressure in my anus that I've been feeling lately. She said that my sons head was super low and my cervix was thin. I called today, out of curiosity to see how effaced I was because I assumed it was probably around 30% and I was stressing not knowing. Turns out, I am 70% effaced. My cervix is closed, but they didn't tell me to take it easy or put me on any restrictions. Is this normal?! This is my first pregnancy and I feel like I'm pretty far effaced for 32 weeks!?
