I'm looking into the amber necklaces for my son as he is getting close to teething, and there are so many choices! dark or light, gemstone or non, etc. What is the best way to go about choosing the right amber necklace?

When I got one for my son, the reading I did said to opt for raw amber rather than polished because it was more effective. I prefer the look of the darker amber, but I recall reading somewhere that the lighter amber seemed to be more beneficial--I don't remember if I read an explanation for that. I'm not sure about the gemstones, but I hope this gives you a bit of a starting point!

I use the Baltic amber teething necklace. I heard the lighter the color the better it works but no clue if that's true or not. Just make sure that it is authentic
