Is this normal for a 3 month old?

So since yesterday morning my baby boy has been pooping more than normal. He is only formula fed and still using the same formula. He's been fussy not sure if it's diarrhea and also maybe a diaper rash? First time mom so I tend to panic 😰

Not sure about the poop. I'm a FTM as well and my baby is breastfed. But I recommend using A&D; ointment on his butt. Really layer it on. My LO had terrible diaper rash to the point it was bleeding. A&D; healed it right up. We still use it every diaper change to protect and prevent anymore rashes. My LO got really fussy around 2 months and turns out he has a milk protein sensitivity. I am now on a non-dairy diet. Could be whats going on with your LO. I'm told its common and they typically outgrow it. I would suggest if he continues to talk to he doctor.

Poop is normal. Use vaseline on privates at each diaper change. That'll prevent further diaper rash

Pay attention to him, if he poops a lot tomorrow as well take him to the doctor, you shouldn't take any risks - it might me enterocolitis

Could be baby passing jaundice. When the hospital thought my baby had jaundice, they said her poop would be grainy and yellowish. That's how you know the body is fighting it off. But my daughters poop looked the same and she was fine. Just check with your pediatrician or the hospital you delivered him in. I recommend A&D; ointment for the rash as well. We use cortisone 1% also.

My baby is also 3 months and had 3 poops today when she usually has 1. No butt problems yet, but definitely not like herself.
