Has anyone else been rather disappointed with the options for childcare around them ?

I've been touring daycares the past few weeks, and while generally the infant care seems fine, I've been rather upset by the food served.

Most of the daycares around me serve snacks and lunch, and do not allow for parents to provide their own. I've gotten a hold of a few menus, and every week is options like:

Chicken nuggets, fish sticks, sloppy Joe's, pizza with sides of fries and a fruit cup.

Am I being too picky when I say I want my child to be fed wholesome, nutritious food that is minimally processed ? Barring the odd pregnancy craving, my house generally follows a Whole 30 / paleo lifestyle. I'd at least like the choice for my child's food, even if the options are being served to others. If I'm spending more than my mortgage on childcare a month, it seems like this shouldn't be a "luxury"

What are your guys thoughts on this ?
