I have an alteration appointment for my wedding dress on Sunday (in three days) to discuss the possibility of ordering more fabric to make my dress slightly bigger. It's mermaid style and while it needs taken in a little on the top, it is literally impossible for me to sit in it. It looks perfect on me, fits like a glove, I can walk just fine but with having thick thighs that flatten out when I sit, there's no extra room to do so. Got so caught up in the moment when trying it on, that I forgot to try sitting in it 😐 and I also bought it off the rack cuz the dress was no longer being made. Has anyone else ever had a similar problem? Because if I can't order extra fabric or if there is no side seam for them to work with, I have to try to loose weight which can be done since my wedding isn't until 10/14/18.
