Is it true that your period doesn't come back as long as your nursing? 3'weeks pp

No, not necessarily true. It's different for every woman. I'm breastfeeding and had one at 3 months, and nothing again.  Some women resume normal periods right away, some don't get a period until they finish breastfeeding, and others have erratic periods. It just depends on the woman.

It is different for everyone. It is normal for it to come back right away, and it is normal for it to stay away till you wean, or anything in between. Got mine at 7.5 weeks postpartum with regular 30-32 day cycles, exclusively breastfeeding.

No. some people dont, some do, and some only get it somtimes. I have only gotten my period 3 times in the 9 months i have been breastfeeding. But you can still get pregnant while breastfeesing

i am breast feeding and 10 weeks PP and still no period. my OB says its completely normal and since im on depo there's no possibility of pregnancy. yes its normal.

well I thought so until I had my period around 8-9 weeks pp. I was disappointed because I thought that meant I wasn't breastfeeding frequently as I should be, it turns out that it's different for everyone and I was one of those 5%. BTW I'm exclusively breastfeeding except for maybe few times that I supplemented with formula or pumped
