boyfriends in the hospital, his moms mad at me?

for anyone who didn't see my last post, my boyfriends mom got offended by a minor comment I made that wasnt even directed at her, she told my boyfriend yesterday on his day off and while I was at work he snapped at me through text

come to find out later on that he's got food posoning so I tell him idc what time it is, you say the word that you're going to the hospital and I'm there

but I was asleep when he texted me at 1 in the morning

but I woke up half and hour later and have been texting him ever since

so me, realizing what time it is and that his moms been with him at the hospital for an hour and a half, and was up with him all day and night she's probably exhausted and she's got the family car so she needs to take my boyfriends dad to work at 7 and then my boyfriends little sister to school at 8:30

so, I tell my boyfriend, I'm clearly not going to go back to sleep and she must be exhausted if she wants to switch "shifts" so she can go home and get some sleep and come back in the morning I'd be happy to do that

she gets offended by that "oh she doesn't understand because she's not a mother, this is what mother's do she doesn't need to switch "shifts"

what the fuck? I was just trying to help, I'm basically done, all I do lately when I open my mouth is get myself in trouble because everyone ends up taking what I said the wrong way

I hate not being there and I hate that he keeps telling me not to come because I have work in the morning but I'm his girlfriend and I love him and I want to be there and I hate how unwanted it's making me feel...when I was in a car accident he was there, I just want to be there for him, I feel like a terrible girlfriend atm...

UPDATE: Around 6 in the morning she called to ask me if I would go to the hospital so she can shower and get some rest before having to bring my boyfriends dad and sister where they needed to go and I just wanted to flip, I offered to do that earlier and she wasn't having that but I let it go, my boyfriend is sick and now's not the time for drama so I was polite I went there and a little while later he was released so I called his mom and brought him home, and we sat and talked about what had happened to him, and what happened at the ER
