Hi ladies,

I have had cramping and spotting with the Paragard IUD for the entire time I have had it. This was throughout my cycle, not necessarily at/around the time of my period.

Then I noticed a thin, bright red blood that would start, right after my period fully stopped. This was April 2016.

My GYN did an ultrasound to make sure the IUD was in place, and everything looked fine.

The other day, (August 2017) my GYN did another ultrasound and it turns out the IUD is partly embedded.

So it's got to go.

My dr doesn't seem concerned about removal.

Have any of you had an IUD embedded? If yes, what was it like to remove?

I really appreciate any feedback!
