What is the minimum and maximum amount of income to receive wic in NY? My husband just got a new job and he is making $18/hr 5 days a week 8hr days. Would I be eligible just asking. we have to save up money for a new place before December and we figured going on wic would really help us save on baby food. At this point every dollar counts.

I just got wic not to long ago and my hubby will start making that same amount next week.im sure you'll be able to get it.they took me hubby and my mothers income so it's the whole household as one income you should be fine.

They go off of moms income if not married 
If married they go off of husbands
They calculate overall income monthly, from the source of income, they go based off of an income bracket but my aunt who makes decent money has been able to get Wic. It is a program to help moms/women. More than likely you will get it. If you’re pregnant now, I say sign up now. It literally saves my family about $200/ month on just those items alone, seeing that both my children benefit from it and now that I am pregnant I do too and I don’t have to use their stuff.
