Teenagers are so miserable lol
My sister is 15 now and I was talking to her and she was like "oh my god I can't wait until I have my own place and don't have to deal with people and mom being so strict" she thinks her life is miserable and stupid. Typical. I see teens on here basically saying the same thing.
Everything I say here i said to her.
Enjoy being young, enjoy the fact that the only thing you have to worry about is school even if if sucks.
Being an adult, fucking sucks. And yes at first when you move out the independence and freedom is fun but like all new things, it eventually gets boring. You'll have bills bills and more bills. And when you think you're caught up something else pops up and you don't even know whats going on, you don't know what you're doing but you try your best. You'll get so stressed out sometimes you want to crawl into a hole and disappear but you cant. There's SO MANY THINGS you have to keep up with and it's ridiculous. Especially if you want to go to college, good god. And somehow you have to keep a good sleeping schedule and remember to feed yourself and put on deodorant. The real world is a bitch, and will chew you up and spit you back out.
So this is me saying to you teens who cant wait to grow up, enjoy it. Enjoy being virtually care free, living in your parents home for free and not worrying about buying food. Enjoy it all, enjoy the shit out of the summers you have left and make something out of them while you have that much free time. Make good friends and good memories with them. Respect your parents, you won't live with them forever. I swear to god it won't last that long. My mom was strict and i hated it but i was an adult in the blink of an eye. And when you're an adult, you will need them. My mom has helped me figure out how to function in the adult world and I would be absolutely lost without her. I look back and I was in such a rush to grow up I didn't even enjoy being a teen. I wish I had just stopped, chilled out and took in the moment. You won't be 15 forever.
