how long after show till delivery?

I am doing a vbac and have never been in labour before. I had cramping and my show this morning at 6 am and went to the hospital I am only a cm dilated so they sent me home. I have a 2 hour drive and I am a little nervous. how long until labour for most people after the show?

:( hoping he doesn't take that long to come! also I am attempting a vbac we all have the risk of having to have a c section when we go in to deliver... even if we have never had one.

How do u know if you will be able to have a vbac? I want to have one so bad!
