Tantrums?!

I know for certain that my 9 month old daughter is starting to throw tantrums more after than none. What is this?

My daughter does it from time to time. Usually because I've tsken somthing from her that she isn't allowed to have. I'll tell her "uhh no ma'am. We do NOT act that way" and ill replace it with a different thing that she is allowed to play with, or I'll distract her on somthing else. At nine months they have a lot going on in their brains and its hard for them somtimes. Especially now that they want stuff but cant understand why you wont allow it. It should pass soon.

My son, 10 months old, has also become quite the master at voicing his displeasure.... I just ignore him when he does it (directly associated with not getting something he wanted or having something taken away) so he doesn't start to think he will get attention by acting like that. He is starting to understand that I won't respond when he's screaming at me and usually quits and finds a toy instead lol

My 8 month old son has just started doing this. I already had to start saying no in a deeper voice to get him to stop. It's working.

a 9 month old doesn't know what they are doing not what u ask of them.  jesus. .. can he even walk yet? can he talk? 9 months old is when separation anxiety stage hits and they feel SCARED if u leave the room. they need love, closeness and understanding. at 9 months old, they are not throwing tantrums, they are going through growth spurts and leaps.  their brains get bigger and they experience lots of development  (inside their brain). it's not a tantrum,  is developmental and it's CRUCIAL that u have lots of love, care and underanding to give, especially when a baby goes through a growth spurt..

my son started at about 10months too. it got worse once he was walking. I don't care what anyone says, at this age they do voice themselves when they get mad, don't get what they want, etc. babies aren't stupid. I have to ignore my sons tantrums when I know they are a result of him not getting everything he wants.
