I got my paragard inserted on the 4th day of my 5 day period no birth control previously. That was back in the middle of July 2017. I had some spotting and worse cramps but nothing I couldn't handle. I got my first period with it and it was the same amount of blood just lasted 7 days instead of the normal 5. so now I'm on month 2 and on day 3 and I am changing a super tampon every 2 hours and no clots just dark red watery blood. Is this normal with paragard iud? I'm not dizzy or anything from the loss of blood but I soaked through a super tampon and a heavy flow always infinity pad and that's never happened to me before. I only had 1 heavy day before and I o not needed to change a super tampon like every 4 hours on that day. just wondering if it'll lighten up or if this is my new period on paragard.
