Period like cramping --advice?

Almost 36 weeks and have period like cramping, pelvic pressure on both sides and feels like I have some vaginal pressure as well. Mommas who have delivered before, how far in advance did this happen for you??

you will know when its time. what you are experiencing is the very , very beginning of labor. this can last for weeks, and it will just get stronger. start timing them. once you start feeling lots of pressure, contractions, constant lower back pain, period cramps, drink lots of cold water, lay down, and try to change positions. if it goes away, your good, if it doesnt, then its time ... make sure to keep a log of contractions. when they get close, 5 min apart, for over an hour, go to L&d.;

I'm 36 weeks and literally went to the hospital for those symptoms yesterday. They monitored me for 4 hours and sent me home. You can definitely go and get checked, never hurts but I'd wait for contractions you can time (5-1-1) because laying there for 4-5 hours to be sent home sucked lol.

I had menstrual like cramps last Friday and got admitted into the hospital for preterm labor... and I'm still here. I'd definitely call!
