No normal ovulation symptoms

For the past few months, if not longer but we've only been trying and keeping track of symptoms for 3 months, I've had sore boobs after ovulation.... like really sore some days and cramping. This month though... nope. 4 dpo and none of this. I did take a nap today, being tired is the only thing I have going on... I'm wondering if maybe lack of symptoms means I didn't ovulate? I haven't don't opk or temping because we've never had to with our other kids.
